Have you ever woken up with your day totally planned just to find out there is no school or a delay because of weather? It can really throw you for a loop. Anyone who lives where the weather can get cold and icy knows that your day’s plans can change very quickly! When you need to change your day around, a lot of times your workout gets put on the back burner. This is when an efficient at home workout comes in handy! Take 20-30 min to complete this weight circuit workout and blast lots of calories while building lean muscle. Make exercise a priority in your day no matter what changes life throws at you!
Complete this basic weight circuit 2-3 times, and remember to keep the weight challenging!
1. 15 squat/overhead press
2. 15 Lunges on same leg / lateral shoulder raise-switch legs and do 15 on that side
3. 1 min high knees running in place
4. wall sit/bicep curls – for wall sit, put your back against a wall with knees bent at 90 degrees to work your quads while doing bicep curls
5. 15 squat jumps
6. push-ups – try some on your toes!
When you are done, you will feel so much better, and be proud of yourself for fitting in some time to keep yourself healthy!!!
